New Team Member- Beatriz Lopez

Beatriz Lopez, Human Resources professional with English teaching experience, joined the project. Her collaboration with CEO Andres Moreno in innovative language instruction, however, dates back to Moreno’s first venture in the field in 2004.

Ms. Lopez brings a strong background in Human Resources, having served in a management position at Atento, a call center broker affiliate of Grupo Telefónica, a leading Latin American corporation. There she was central in defining key roles and responsibilities. Previously, as an HR executive at Banco del Caribe, Beatriz oversaw the compensation structure for over 800 employees and managed employee turnover.

Beatriz Lopez grew up in Potomac, Maryland, where she lived until her Venezuelan-born parents returned home when she was in her mid-teens.In Caracas, she studied Human Resources Management at Universidad Católica Andres Bello.
